| P-089 - 1912 Edwardian Dinner Gown
Although King Edward died in 1910, the period from 1901 to the beginning of the war in 1914 is generally referred to as the Edwardian Era. This Edwardian gown is covered entirely in sequins shading gradually from purple at the waist to bright pink at the hem. The bust features a delicate glass bead panel draped with a swag of sequins and beads. This pattern is repeated at the shoulders to create the delicate beaded sleeves so popular during this Era. Additional swags adorn the skirt. Over her arms is a slinky shawl of shimmering stretch fabric with a beaded crochet border.
