P-116 - Mrs. Teddy Roosevelt Tea Gown

Edith Roosevelt was one of America’s most beloved First Ladies. Our costume duplicates an actual dress worn by Mrs. Roosevelt during her White House term from 1901 to 1909. The slim skirt has a smooth layer of satin finish sequins that end in Irish Crochet inserts all around the hem. The bodice has lavish Irish Crochet roses at the chest and cuffs. The elaborate collar has tiny glass beads and genuine bone beads just like those used during this Era. Her adorable hat is brimming with preserved mini roses, ribbons and a faux bone broach. Because the Teddy Bear was named after Teddy Roosevelt, we gave Mrs. Roosevelt teenie Teddy Bear charms on her bracelet and hat pin.
