Our adorable Mother to Be wears a richly gathered Housecoat (Peignoir) worked in a simple lace stitch that can be woven with narrow satin ribbon when complete. The Nightdress is also crocheted in a quick lace stitch that can also be woven with optional ribbon trim. A wide row of ruffled pineapples circle the hem. Under the nightie is an pretty pair of maternity bloomers. Tucked in the bloomers is a crochet pouch with music disk that looks like an old fashioned hot water bottle. Our sweet little musical bassinet has layers of ruffled pineapples and satin trimmed crochet lace. The bassinet frame is made from ordinary craft items and can be adjusted to fit various size boxes.
