1840 London Peddlar Lady KIT
Make your own British Peddlar Doll just like the antiques found in prestigious doll collections around the world using Paradise's own 1840 London Peddlar Lady KIT. There has never been a doll like this in crochet. Your family will be proud to pass this doll on for generations.
We have worked for months searching for and importing all of the tiny wares you need to create your very own Peddlar doll. Click HERE to see an image that shows almost all of the miniature wares that come in your Kit. There is a lacquered wood violin with velvet lined case (case not shown), a French scene porcelain plate, 9 piece porcelain tea set, miniature brass mask, tools and keys. You will receive over a dozen miniature copies of authentic antique sepia photographs to trim and glue in little gold frames provided for you!
There are nearly 80 items including a 1" brass fry pan, ginger bread cookie, real wood mixing bowls and teenie weenie brass scissors that actually work. You will spend hours playing with all the toys.
Also included in the KIT is a burgundy 4 drawer jewel box to display the doll's goods. A matching frame hangs on the doll's back. Two doll size printed Victorian posters are provided to help our peddlar doll advertise her wares. Included are 3 adorable doll size woven wicker baskets to help hold all of her treasures.
Our fashion doll wears a cozy layered cape made from rich ruby red rayon chenille yarn. You will also receive all the velvet, lace and white rayon thread needed to create her heartwarming patchwork quilt costume. There are over 200 pearlized shirt buttons, sixteen beautiful gold shank buttons (some with with rhinestone and pearl trim), plus hundreds of sequins. We chose pre-strung ivory and white pearl beads that slide right onto your crochet thread.
